Description

Biographical Note:
Eddie Dexter Stewart formerly worked in television news as a studio camera operator, editor, audio technician and producer. Eddie is a loving and devoted father of one child, a daughter. He always has enjoyed drawing for family and friends. The manga, "Noelle", is based upon an unpublished, copyrighted work he drew to amuse high school classmates and family members. The characters have blossomed into fully developed characters which, at the urging of family and friends, is being shared with all. Eddie is a child of the media. His greatest influences come from Tatsuo Yoshida, Shoji Kawamori, and Yosuke Kuroda as well as the works of classical artists such as Van Gogh and Rembrandt. He is also a lover of the works of animator Chuck Jones, Walt Disney, and Friz Freleng. A lot of the humor in his works stem from his family's love of Warner Brother's Looney Tunes. A "wanna-be physicist" and self-proclaimed "otaku", Eddie has an optimism for the future--a hope that man will one day rely upon the angels of his better nature...A hope that mankind realizes that all we have is each other and this one little planet. Eddie loves sunsets over the beaches of Florida and bemoans the degradation of Byster Lake--a once pristine lake near his childhood home in Brooksville, Florida. It's his witnessing of the lake's decline, due to over-development, that influenced his love for the environment and the need to balance nature and responsible development and growth.
