Sakura Tsukuba is from Saitama Prefecture. In 1994 she debuted with Hikari Nodokeki Haru no Hi ni, a title which won the LaLa Manga Grand Prix Kasaku Award. Her other works include Land of the Blindfolded (recipient of the Hakusensha Athena Shinjin Taisho award) and Penguin Revolution.
