Edwin Z. Canary (he/they) is an early 30-something Queer poet based in Tāmaki-makau-rau/Auckland, with their husband; and with their cat, Thomas. Edwin's poetry is an expression of living with mental health issues, melancholia, uncertainty; as well as finding love, and the beauty in nature. An amateur historian, Edwin specialises in the Victorian era; taking inspiration from the æsthetic of the time; their love of nature, fascination with death, and the dark.
